META2020 arquitectos is formed by Carmen Caballero and Javier Sanz, both graduates from the Higher School of Architecture of Valladolid in 2008. They are certified Passivhaus Designers and specialized in bioconstruction.

After working with several established architecture studios in Valladolid and Chile, they founded their own practice in 2015. Since then, they have focused on developing sustainable architecture projects with high energy efficiency.
