EcoCocon – Lynch, Keller, Kierulf & Kosowski

EcoCocon was founded with the idea to find a way to create real and affordable cradle to cradle buildings. Buildings that are made of renewable materials, and would last decades before being returned safely to nature after use. Buildings that would contain healthy, locally sourced materials and leave a minimal ecological footprint.

Bjørn Kierulf – CEO Ecococon
Bjørn Kierulf is a Norwegian industrial designer and Passivhaus specialist based in Slovakia. As CEO of EcoCocon and founder of Createrra, he champions the use of natural materials—particularly straw—in high-performance, low-carbon buildings. His work integrates cradle-to-cradle principles with Passive House standards, aiming to make sustainable construction both scalable and accessible.

Paul Lynch – EcoCocon Network Manager

Lars Keller – EcoCocon Denmark
In the late 90’s and 00’s Lars was part of pioneers in DK and Europe who pioneered straw building method. Testing, experimenting, teaching, building. Since the mid 10’s Lars has worked in tandem with the EcoCocon team, aiming at getting SB into the mainstream. In the last five years Lars’ focus has been the B2B sector.

Gabriel Patricio Kosowski – EcoCocon España
I am an architect and specialist in the management of complex projects. In 2011, I began training in various bio-construction techniques, eco-architecture, and more local, efficient, healthy, and ecological ways of building. Since 2012, I have been EcoCocon’s local partner for Spain. Since then, I have dedicated myself to disseminating and advising individuals and professionals on everything related to sustainable construction systems, especially using EocCocon prefabricated straw panels.
