Luc Floissac (FR)

Luc Floissac holds a doctorate in geography and planning, and a certificate of specialized training in architecture and environmental quality. He is an environmental consultant with Eco-Etudes, providing support to clients and contractors in the technical and environmental assessment of construction systems, and in the construction and rehabilitation of buildings.

He is an associate researcher at the LRA (Laboratoire de Recherche en Architecture) and teaches at several institutions (Toulouse School of Architecture, Ecole des Mines d’Albi, etc.). His research focuses on the fields of Environmental Quality of Buildings (EQB), digital mock-ups (BIM), energy performance, and the use of bio-sourced materials in construction and rehabilitation. Member of RFCP (Réseau Français de Construction en Paille) and coordinator of the drafting of professional rules for straw construction and new professional rules for external thermal insulation.
