Tour of local straw homes (3 houses; picnic lunch included)

Sunday Bus tour:

9:00 – 9:30 check-in for bus tour

9:30 – 16:30 tour of 3 buildings

• Can Llop (Riells i Viabrea) – house built with traditional post & beam construction, with CUT style in-fill walls. Made by STEP certified builder Jorge Porto and designed by Architect Mirco Zecchetto
• Sant Feliu de Codines  – concrete, 8-apartment building rehabilitated with Ecococon panels. Designed by Oken architects.
• Sant Pere de Villamajor – CLT wooden structure with CUT infill. Handicapped accessible building made with reversible foundation. By Architect Valentina Maini.

Important notes:

• We will have two buses which will visit the houses by different routes. Both buses will meet up for the visit in Sant Feliu de Codines, and a picnic lunch (included in the ticket price).
• You are invited to bring your luggage with you, as both buses can drop visitors off at a train station with a direct line (every 30 min.) to both Barcelona center and the Barcelona Airport (about a 60-70 minute ride to the airport) after the tour. After stopping at the train station, the buses will return to Canet de Mar (Vila Flora)
