Step-by-step guidance on how to install the various elements of a window or door in a straw bale wall. Learn how to protect the sill from water, prevent condensation on your windows, break thermal bridges, and super-insulate window frames—achieving wind-tightness while allowing breathability.

Rubén is a professional trainer, coach, and natural builder with over 15 years of experience. He loves creating and helping others improve their lives. He was certified in the first European edition of the official training for Straw Bale Builders (STEP) by ASBN (Austria), with international recognition, under the guidance of Herbert Gruber. He is also largely self-taught and has trained in the French Professional Rules for Straw Bale Construction through the RFCP, with Luc Floissac.
